How often does someone get disability approved in just a few months ?

National statistics indicate that about 30 out of every hundred Social Security disability claims are approved at the initial claim’s level. Assuming that the other 70 percent file a reconsideration of the initial disability denial, an additional 15 percent of those denied claims would be allowed. An initial disability claim usually takes ninety days or less to receive a decision and reconsiderations are usually under sixty days. What does this mean? It means that roughly 45 percent of all disability claims are usually approved within a few months.
