The Oregon Paralyzed Veterans of America, otherwise known as OPVA and found online at oregonpva.com, offers a wide variety of resources and information for Oregon’s paralyzed veterans. The OPVA has been an organization for more than 50 years and offers memberships for only $10 for an entire lifetime. Membership offers participation in various programs, admission to events and a subscription to the bi-monthly magazine, The Paralog.
The OPVA’s website has an abundance of tools and resources, information about legislation and laws and a thorough look at various campaigns. At the site you can sign up for newsletters and browse through the action alerts to find ways you can get involved and help Oregon’s paralyzed veterans. The website states that OPVA helps members and non-members who are spinal cord injured to lead productive lives. The main mission of the organization is to find a cure for paralysis.
