Social Security Disability Lawyer Wilson NC North Carolina

The Morrison law firm is located in Wilson, North Carolina and handles personal injury law cases, workers compensation cases, and, of course, social security disability cases. According to the homepage, Mr. Morrison has been handling injury related cases for clients since 1989. This particular website, like many disability attorney websites, is fairly short. However, the pages that are on the site are fairly informative and well-written. On the SSD pages, Mr. Morrison answers many of the basic questions that applicants for SSD, and potential applicants, usually have about the process of filing for disability. The workers compensation section of the site pretty much does the same and offers pointers and tips regarding workers comp insurers for injured or sick workers who either have a workers comp claim or are considering filing one. In general, this is a fairly informative site and the information provided is better than what is generally provided on similar sites.

Missouri Social Security Disability Attorneys

Croweshanahan.com is a Social Security disability website for the law firm of Crowe and Shanahan. Crowe and Shanahan specialize in all areas of Social Security disability law, and they serve the St. Louis area, Creve Coeur, eastern Missouri, and Southern Illinois.

Currently, the website defines some general Social Security disability terms and offers a firm overview. I was not able to review the FAQs page or the articles section, because there is a message that indicates these pages are being updated at this time. There is a links section for the site; however, it offers very little additional information about Social Security disability.

How to Get SSI and Social Security Disability

Amazon.com makes available "How to Get SSI and Social Security Disability: An Insider’s Step by Step Guide".

This book was written by Mike Davis, a former Social Security disability examiner. Mike Davis comments that he has processed thousands of cases, and that many of the Social Security disability claims he worked on, which were denials, should have been allowances (though, he also indicates that some of the disability cases just did not have enough objective information to achieve an allowance for Social Security disability).

In this 148-page book, Mr. Davis provides helpful tips and information that will allow you to present your case in a more accurate a favorable manner, which may increase your chances of winning Social Security disability dramatically.

Additionally, amazon.com provides other books on Social Security disability, that may be helpful if you apply for disability.

Dealing with disability

This is a page titled, "Dealing with Disability", on the site Turmoil leads to hope. TLTH seems to be a very helpful and and forthright site and this particular page is especially helpful since it is a personal, first-person advice page written by an individual who has had to fight the social security disability system. The page is divided into sections: Social Security A Stressful Endeavor, Ground Rules For Applying For SSD, and SSD Forms. The authors of the page points out that the information that is presented is of the non-official variety and is the author's opinion. However, the helpful and informative nature of the page is very obvious and the level of detail provided regarding the disability system is considerably more (and of better quality) than many legal sites created by disability law firms.

Social Security Disability - How it works

This is a freepage hosted by webspawner and is titled "Social Security Disability - how it works", this is a fairly brief page that adequately discusses and describes the various stage of the SSA disability system. As the page states, the system is composed of an application stage, a middle step known as the reconsideration stage, and, what is for most individuals whose disability case has been turned down, the most important stage of the system, the disability hearing.
