Parsons Law group

The Parsons law group is based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Apparently headed by attorney J. Michael Parsons, this firm seems to have worker's compensation claims as it core focus and seems to serve the majority of the state of Georgia. A tagline on the homepage of this site says that if workers compensation insurers did the right thing, then individuals would not need attorneys. This is literally true, and it is true for worker's compensation and long term disability. It is also true for social security disability cases in a different sense (although the federal government does not have a profit incentive to deny claimants, containing cost does seem to be an issue and claimants with representation do seem to fare better than those who are not represented). Unfortunately, the U.S. legal system, even as it pertains to various disability claims, requires the use of representation in order that indivduals may obtain fair and full consideration. It is true, of course, that the U.S. has, per capita, more lawyers than any other country in the world. However, it may be equally true that the citizens of other countries have much less opportunity for receiving fair consideration in legal matters.
