If you pass away, your wife may be able to receive benefits from your record. It depends upon your wife's age at the time you pass away.
A spouse can receive widow or widower's benefits at age 60; unless they are disabled.
If your wife is disabled she may be eligible for widow's benefits between the ages of 50 and 60. She would have to have gone or go through the same disability process you went through to be eligible for disability benefits.
